Would it be possible to have 3G06 and 3G07 added to the Ward 4 maps?

The reason I ask is so that we can see how moving 3/4G SMD boundaries affect other SMDs within that ANC?

Just with that quick review that Joanna shared the SMDs right around 4C02 are all over 2100 so our work will be to rebound several right in that area?

Will the ANC letter boundaries also be able to be changed?

If there is an overlap of Ward 3 ANCs into Ward 4 can they simply be shifted back to Ward 3 reducing the population of Ward 4 ANCs?

One idea about soliciting input. ANCs may pass resolutions about potential boundary changes. I'm not sure if we are legally required to provide those resolutions "great weight" (not a lawyer!) but I think we should decide as a group whether we want to respond to those resolutions over the next two months or whether we want our final report to stand on its own.

Thanks, Naima. Responding to the public is most important. For example, I have asked a question about the Ward 3 ANCs. I would like a response to that question, though it may sound like a suggestion. I am asking a question about the Ward 3 ANC boundaries. If the challenge has to do with too many people in Ward 4 ANCs, I realize there is not a simple answer to that challenge. However, the Ward 3 ANC boundaries should be explored as a possible solution.

In terms of sharing information with ANC commissioners, one way I think about it is - "I'm happy to provide information but decisions are made at the public meetings."
